RE: Who is without toys?

We had toys. I have a Weekend Warrior FS2500 and HAD 5 dirt bikes we used to haul around and ride. We pretty much got outa dirt bikes and into horses, but decided to keep the Toy Hauler for its room and we also put two fold up recliners in the rear area for the wife and I to relax. We love the room of the hauler.

RE: WW SL FS2500 or 2300

I have a 2007 SL FS2500 and I did have frame problems not the tongue problem, but the frame twist problem. And I am VERY HAPPY with my rig and the way WW and Mark took care of me to get it fixed, even as WW was going under, they took care of me. J

RE: WW Mod Your Couch?

The way it is works fine even thou it looks like it will fall apart. You could ad a second hook but you will have to hit a stud to do any good and I don't know if a stud is located in the right spot. That is exactly what WW did to my FS2500. I just recently got my 2007 FS2500 back from the WW factory for repair of the frame and a few other warranty issues. I noticed that they also added a 2nd hook on the other side of my couch, so I now have two hooks one on each end. J

RE: RV & Truck Ins.

Its a waste of money untill you need it and it pays for your expensive repairs.

RE: WW Repairs

Did they do anything with the tongue of the trailer? Thats where my buddy has had the biggest problem. Its tweaked and the front corners of the trailer have split open allowing water to get in. Thanks for the pics. I got my trailer delivered back to my house a week before WW closed the doors. They did all the above work that you see in those pics on my trailer too and they did the fix on the tongue also, even though I had the thicker tongue already. They also resealed my roof corners and my front cap and my front roof vents. I will also add they cleaned my trailer inside and out. J

RE: Why does my converter fan run so much ?

Is you refer on? Even in ac mode, it uses dc to power the control board. If refer is off, maybe you want to consider unplugging from ac.... what's it doing for you? The fan cools the transformers and circuit boards in converter. Most Circuit boards are rated to about 105-115 degrees. with the outside temps being as high as they've been, they are needed to keep things below those specs. Nope the REF is off.

RE: Why does my converter fan run so much ?

Our MH that is about the size of your TH has a 60 amp converter. Fan runs only when something large is used (like water pump). 30 converter will work but 60 amp would be better. Does the area where converter is mounted have ventilation? The cabinet where our is mounted has ventilation. Air flow in and out. Nope very little ventilation where it is mounted.

RE: Why does my converter fan run so much ?

My fan (for the charger) only runs more when the batteries get weak or get older. is it possible the dealer gave you 2 bad batteries? Well the trailer is 2 years old. J

Why does my converter fan run so much ?

I have a Weekend Warrior FS2500 Toy Hauler. It is a 30AMP system it has a IOTA DLS-30 converter and two deep cycle batteries. When I have it stored at home I keep it plugged in. When I have it plugged in at home to a regular 120V wall outlet with nothing on in the trailer. The only things taking power are the radio, but not turned on it is just taking power, and the CO detector. NOW for the questions.... Why does the fan in my converter run so much ??? Should it run that much ? Would a larger converter do anything better ? Is it ok to keep the trailer plugged in all the time with the converter fan always running ? Thanks, J

RE: Weekend Warrior, the good memories

Well I can say I have had my WW FS2500 for 2 years and could not be happier. I searched for about a year for a Toy Hauler and could not find what I wanted so I purchased and enclosed 7X16 trailer with A/C HEAT and Electric and used that for two more years while I searched for the right trailer. So after 3 years of searching I found the WW Superlite FS2500 which was PERFECT. Picked it up with out a single issue with the trailer and used it for two years with no problems. After two years I did have the frame twisting problem that a lot of FS2300 and FS2500 are having. Mark called me and said not to worry he would have it picked up and brought back to CALI have it fixed and deliver back to my house. He did exactly what he said he would. I got my trailer back days before WW had their doors closed. So I know Mark was working on making his customers happy down to the last minute. I love my FS2500 and I have no plans to get rid of it for the next few years. J

RE: Warrior's assets siezed

Interesting thing just happened to me. I just called WW got the normal phone system it asked for the extension I wanted I typed in Mark's extension the phone rang and he answered... I did not ask him about any of the problems, I just wanted to call him and let him know I got my trailer back and I was very happy with how is people fixed my trailer and handled my warranty work and got my trailer back to me in a timely manner. Now I admit he did not sound up beat, he sounded very down, BUT I can tell you that the WW phone system is working and Mark is answering his phone. J

RE: Warrior's assets siezed

When you're running a business that is struggling with possible failure, you try to continue running it the best that you can, in hopes that it doesn't fail. If you just give up and stop running the business or run it as if it's going to fail anyways, you seal your fate. Sounds like they did what they could to stay afloat, fighting to the very last day, but came up short in the end. I agree like I have said they had my trailer for repairs and delivered it back to my house 1700 miles from their factory a week before the doors got shut and I was very happy with the work they did.

RE: WW Repairs

So this thread has spiraled around and around since I started it back in Dec. I'm curious to know how many members have had their trailers fixed as part of the class action? I assume the lawyers have folded up their tents and gone home now that there's no manufacturer left to bilk? Is that correct? Is the class action effort kaput now? NO the lawyers just get in the long line of people that WW owe money too. Of course the bank will get their money first, if any money is left it will be paid out down the list by how important people are. LOL Lawyers may be at the TOP just behind the bank. BUT im guessing no money will be left once the bank gets what they can, because if WW had the assets to cover the bank loans they wouldnt be in this position HUH

RE: Warrior's assets siezed

WW and Ragen are both going under. You will not find anything on BK listing, bank is taking over on Mon 7/21. The liquidation will start then. Giant RV is not buying them. Mark got too full of himslef and was an absentee owner for too long - out playing and not paying attention. Spending money like it was water. Now he is losing everything in his business and personal life. He got in over his head financially and hired too many criminals to get him out of it. You reap what you sow. I wouldn't buy parts from Weekend Warrior Gear either, the same monkeys are running the zoo there too. Vendors have been hurt and are losing lots of $$$ also. Warriors once great name is now on the auction block... if your trailer or motorhome is there getting serviced, I'd get it out of there FAST before the bank chains the gates and the guards the bank has posted won't let you in. Nice first post. I doubt his personal life will change at all. WW is a Corporation or he may have changed it to an LLC, but either way, he is safe personally. Being a CORP or LLC really helps you keep your personal stuff hidden and not touchable. J

RE: WW Repairs

Well whats interesting is when you call them now it does NOT go to their normal phone system when you can put in the extension you want to go to. All calls just go right to the receptionist and all you can do it leave her a message. All he message says is her name and that she is the receptionsist and says leave a message. SO I guess its true OOOoo I am so glad I got my trailer back last week. J
